QQ's dress

quite motivated after completing ann's pouch and i decided to work on some of my many WIP projects.

managed to dig out QQ's half completed dress. i muz admit tat i've nbr completed any piece of clothing. i still haf a half finished skirt, tube and even a quarter of a vest.

i oso dug out some old yarn tat i wana use for the skirt of QQ's dress. the yarn was unravelled from some abandoned project so it's all curly. i always thot old yarn looks like maggie mee.

anyway, i haben even managed to find the ends of the yarn den to untangle and wind before i can continue. seriously doubt the dress can b completed in time for CNY...mayb a mini skirt instead? hehe

i had fun trying out different stitches for the bodice of the dress. juz some wierd pattern tat i came up wif but the effect is quite unique. i luv stitches tat gif the finished work a more textured surface rather den a plain piece of work.

Crochet bunny

after ann told mi abt her intent to pick up crochet/knitting for plushies, i got the pattern for tis crochet bunny from lion yarn.

i luv the bright colours and clever look of tis gem of a bunny. mayb i should make one in time for easter...lol

Handphone pouch

tis pouch was done for the sony ericsson fone tat i no longer carry. i experimented and achieved the diamond effect...tat's wat i luv abt crocheting...the basic stitches are few and easy, yet the possibilities are endless.

one is onli limited by one's own creative and abstract thinking

My homec bag

i use tis old bag to lug my laptop around sometimes...especially on wkends.

ann saw & said it's beli nice...hehe...beli proud of my homec project though credits muz go to my mom for sewing it up.

went to golden dragon wif brenda & samie.

wow! i felt like i was in heaven...so many beautiful yarns to choose from.

i LOVE touching & squeezing all the balls of yarn.

and the colours! i hope heaven has losta yarn too.

Big Bow

Found another old piece of work.

I worked the bow using 2 yarns, 1 orange & 1 brown for tis effect.

Commercialised Crochet Scarf

yes, i like the pattern very much but not all the colors used. black & maroon are too strong & clash wif yellow & blue.

Nice beanies from Winter Time

saw these 2 nice beanies at winter time tonite.

i like the butterfly feature & the colors of both beanies.

Progress of YT's scarf

took a picture of YT's scarf & showed her my progress too. still a long way to go & she's flying off on fri!

she suggested i crochet since tat's much much faster but i wana persist on wif knitting leh.

muz master it & learn more stitches.

i dropped a stitch but managed to fix it back. i'm learning to see the pattern of the finished work.

Bottle Holder

Found another piece of work finished long time ago...tink it should be 5 yrs ago for yeow.

very sweet light blue color & has rows of popcorn stitches.....tink i'll get a small water bottle & use it myself.

i love the effect of popcorn stitch much better den fan so i use it a lot.

btw, tis is definitely 100X nicer den the Siggs white crochet bottle holder wif no design watsoever.

Scarf that I saw at Winter World

Wow! Isn't this pretty?! HQ & I saw tis at Winter World...according to Brenda, not difficult. I think I can try tis next....just knitting & purling....yesh, i am getting the concept now

My 1st knitting class

Just back from my 1st knitting class. so excited...it's so much easier wif someone teaching den reading instructions. i couldn't figure out the instructions for so many yrs but wif brenda as teacher, suddenly it's workable.

but the yarn was a killer. can't even count the stitches not to talk about doing any pattern. in the end, brenda suggested i juz do knit so the way which i readily accepted. anything to make the task easier. tink i'm motivated enuff to try to finish YT's scarf by next wk & start on one for HQ.

my proudest project todate coz i really like the way the colours turn out.

as i have stated before, i'm a color coordination idiot!

tough when i am so into crochet...u haf to be creative when u like crafts but too bad i haf so little color sense.

and i love the buttons...so cute

easy enuff backpack tat's perfect for beach. not much privacy though wif the see thru design.
